Probably dating back to the Forties or Fifties, this oil-immersed Kenotron is about 10”(25cms) long and 4.5”(11cms) diameter, and bears on its anode cylinder a serial number “X 2886”. The filament is in an axial
position inside the anode cylinder, held by a helical support, similar to
that seen in the early GE kenotrons KR-3 and KR-4. The technical specifications are unavailable.... |
