Machlett  ML-41ER (England)

10” (25cms) high, with an Edison screw cap filament connection.

Maximum high voltage 140kVp. Filament voltage 6.0 Volts.

Some wire windings are visible around the bakelite base of the valve, probably in connection with the filament circuit (similar to the Dunlee VR-6CFR kenotron). Their purpose is unclear.

Machlett Laboratories are known to have been manufacturing valves in England (possibly with “GEC”) sometime between 1940 and 1960, and for a certain time with “Comet”  in Switzerland.
