Small Size Rotating Anode Tube

German made Philips rotating anode 6 kW tube (1970) equipping the ROTA-PRACTIX mobile x-ray unit, delivering 100mA at 60 kV, and 60mA at 100 kV (although the tube is rated 125kV on the yellow label). The particularity of this tube is its reduced size. See pictures of this tube with its 2” (5cms) rotating anode, compared to an average size rotating anode tube, and to a 5” (12.5cms) anode disc.

Note the two parallel filaments, respectively for the large and small focus, with a discontinuity in the longer filament.
