Water-cooled grounded anode. Copper target. Maximum output  50 kV, 1500 Watts. Target angle 6 degrees. Focal spot 1x1 mms.  Four Beryllium windows. Tube undated, made in Holland by Philips (who have abandoned, since about two decades, the manufacture of such tubes).

The anode is cooled by water circulating through the base of the tube, the water inlet being  in one of the corners, and  the outlet in the diagonally opposite one.

Targets in Diffraction X-Ray tubes can be made of different metals, including Tungsten, Molybdenum, Chrome, Cobalt, Iron and Copper. Copper is however the most frequently used.
